Solid Snap Shirt

HRC 2 (also called CAT 2) is an NFPA 70E hazard category that requires arc-rated clothing with at least 8 cal/cm² of protection. Forge FR's Solid Snap shirts carry an ATPV of 8.6 cal/cm², which meets the HRC 2 requirement for most electrical, utility, and industrial tasks.

Electricians, linemen, welders, refinery and oilfield workers, pipeline crews, and plant maintenance teams commonly wear FR shirts. Always check your employer's hazard assessment and site rules first, since the required arc rating and standard (NFPA 70E or NFPA 2112) depend on the job.
