Well made and designed for a construction professional. Perhaps a little warm, however that os due to its substantial construction. Think along the lines of a quality mis weight cotton soft canvas. The zipper is a quality, military style that will go the distance. This is an excellent safety vest and for FR- it wears nicely.

I work outdoor construction year round and have been wearing this this the past month of December. I opted to purchase the non insulated one, warm enough for what it is. It's extremely durable. Would not hesitate to buy another one.
